Wind Streamer Fish

Come on a fishy crafting adventure with me! We’ll be using tissue paper and our imaginations to make colourful Koinobori (‘carp streamer’ in Japanese) style wind fish to catch the summer breeze! Koinobori are traditional kites from Japan resembling fish. They are usually flown on Children’s Day so that children will grow up strong and healthy. We’ll be flying ours from bamboo poles. Take home your new flying fish as well as a few treats. Fingers crossed for a dry and breezy day!

*Both adults and children will require a ticket for this event.

Primary aged children will get the most out of this activity but supervised children older and younger are very welcome.

*Take-home treats not suitable for ages 3 and under.

*Parents/carers are fully responsible for their children and must remain with them at all times. We will be using scissors, glue and small crafting pieces that may be unsuitable for small children.
